We are hiring software developers to build and run the products in our portfolio: eleven B2B SaaS companies, operated out of one studio.
You would work on real products with paying customers, such as 1Lookup, whose email verification API also covers phone numbers and IP addresses, in real time.
The team is remote and works async. You own your work from the first ticket to production.
What you will do
- Build and ship features across our web apps and APIs.
- Debug production issues end to end.
- Review code and keep pages, queries and jobs fast.
- Write short, clear updates so a remote team always knows where things stand.
- Own what you ship, from the ticket to production.
What we look for
- Solid experience building web applications and APIs that run in production.
- Comfortable in a modern stack. Ours includes TypeScript, Next.js, Go, Python and PostgreSQL.
- Good database habits.
- Clear written English.
- The ability to work independently and manage your own time.
How hiring works
1
Take the 30 minute test.
No resume screen. One timed test, on a computer, in one sitting.
2
Send a short Loom.
After the test you get a topic and 24 hours to record it.
3
Talk to Robby.
Do well and Robby, one of the two founders, interviews you this week.
The rules of the test
130 minutes, timed, one attempt. No pause: once the clock starts it runs to zero, even if you close the tab.
2Work alone. You promise not to use AI before you start, and breaking that ends your application.
3Session activity is monitored while you take it.
4Type your own answers. We can tell when they are not yours.
5Desktop only. Use a computer in a quiet room.
